Marking Scheme for Class 12th CBSE Exam:

Some key points to be noted with regard to CBSE 12 Marking Scheme for 2022-2023 are as follows:

• Exams for the CBSE Class 12 Board will be for 100 Marks. The theory paper will account for 70 of these while the students’ internal performance will determine the other 30.
• The CBSE 12th theoretical paper will include both competency-based and

descriptive-based questions.

• Each paper will have about 40% competency-based questions. These questions could take the form of MCQs, short answers, case studies, etc.

• Only MCQ-based questions will make up the remaining 20% of the exam.
• Descriptive questions, either brief or long, will make up the remaining 40% of the questions.

• The 30 marks for the internal assessment would be divided into the following categories: practicals (10 marks), subject enrichment activities (10 marks), multiple assessments (5 marks), and practicals (5 marks).
• The CBSE 12th Board exam will be of a three-hour duration.

Preparation Tips for 12th Class Board Exam 2023

1. Prepare a Timetable to cover subject-wise all topics, and set realistic goals that you can achieve. The target is to learn and practice questions from the whole syllabus not to compete while doing so, so get familiar with your learning pace and get to know what learning tactics work for you and apply them.

CBSE Date Sheet 2023 Class 12: Exam Time Guidelines

• Students should keep in mind the Class 12th CBSE Date sheet exam timings.
• Students should reach the exam center at least half an hour earlier to avoid the last-minute hassle.
• CBSE Class 12th question paper will be distributed to students at 10:15 AM, and 15 minutes will be given to students to read the paper.
